Freedom American Language Course Online Network (FALCON) is deeply committed to helping learners gain the confidence they need to communicate effectively in American English.
We offer honest, practical, and affordable coaching to empower learners to reach the next level in their personal or academic goals.
Our Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced courses combine listening, reading, writing, and speaking to encourage learners to enjoy a balanced approach to learning language while improving their communication skills. We recognize that despite studying grammar rules and memorizing vocabulary in traditional English classes for months or years, students still struggle to embrace language as a means to communicate.
Evaluating the learner's specific goals, our teaching team assesses the learner's language proficiency level, develops appropriate lessons, and offers constructive feedback to make courses relevant and useful to each individual.
Our highly personalized approach engages learners by breaking down seemingly large tasks into meaningful and manageable segments through our one-on-one and group courses.
Our Director
Claudia Perez, has a passion for coaching and believes that every achievement begins with the decision to try. She considers herself a 'forever student' eager to build on her academic foundations in language learning and implement best practice strategies through continued professional development.
Through the years, she has specialized in teaching Spanish and English for Specific Purposes to adult graduate/undergraduate students and international military students in the American Language Course at the Defense Language Institute at Lackland Air Force Base and other national and international schools. Coaching students in Spanish and English language courses in academic and informal settings, she noticed that students joined her class lacking the confidence to communicate.
She enjoys helping students meet and exceed personal academic goals by applying theoretical concepts and practical ideas within actual classroom situations and online platforms. Her experience in teaching language in multilingual settings has allowed her to travel and meet amazing people; She enjoys building rapport with students and families from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. She believes that learning is possible by creating a trusting atmosphere through sensitivity to students' strengths, weaknesses, and personal learning styles.
